UWWC Grants
Our Impact Areas
United Way of Will County invests in local nonprofit organizations that create measurable change across three key areas

Youth Opportunity
Helping children and teens reach their full potential.

Healthy Community
Promoting physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Financial Security
Supporting individuals and families in achieving stability.
Together, these focus areas help build a stronger, more connected, and resilient Will County.
FY27 Community Grant Cycle Update
United Way of Will County is taking time during the FY2027 grant cycle (July 2026 – June 2027) to strengthen our relationships with current partners and refine how we invest in community needs.
As a result, new or unsolicited Community Grant applications will not be accepted for FY27. The FY27 grant cycle will be a closed process, limited to organizations that currently receive United Way funding.
This intentional pause allows us to focus on improving our grantmaking process, aligning investments with community priorities, and ensuring a strong foundation for future funding cycles.
We will share an update about future grant opportunities no later than December 2026.
